Lyrical Triptych Reflection
In this assignment I was told to pick a song that I liked and print the lyrics out and the part that I like I used it for the Triptych. We have to choose at least three favorite parts from the lyrics and make three triptychs. After I got the lyrics I was told to go on gettyimages.com or ficker.com etc, website to find photo to download. When I had all my pictures that I chooses I would go on photo shop and then start to make my triptych. I would click on new, Then start too change the size, 5 by 7. Then every time I added pictures I had to make sure that all my pictures were the same or how I wanted it.
My triptych is mostly about love and faithfulness. What song did I choose was YOU ARE NOT ALONE By MICHAEL JACKSON I love that song for some reason. I think my triptych came out nice. It was a lot of work. I used filter on the last triptych on my boyfriend picture I went to filters and click on texture. I also used transform to scale my photos and tool to move my pictures and etc. I feel good about my triptych.
I choose different images from actual words that represent the photo and lyrics, For examples my triptych two I put a house and there is a lonely hill and a men sitting in the lonely hill. The lyrics say everyday I sit and ask my self how did love slip away. I feel good about my triptych.
My experience working with adobe Photoshop was amazing I learn so much from it. When I first work with adobe Photoshop it was so difficult I was clueless from it. I was always asking the teacher or one of the students for help. But now when I kept on playing with the program I got use to it and some what knowing what I was doing and know where most of the tools were. I feel successful when I’m done doing my project because my work comes out looking like a professional work.
